Amazing material - I've been always a fan of the 95' sound, so it's a real pleasure to have a chance to listen to this. Thank you!

Utmost respect. Thanks for posting the show. Look forward to more. My boy Dj El-K got me hooked off one cassette he brought back from New York, way back in like '96 I think. Haven't listened to it in a while, but I recall you spinnin' Camoflage Large (Cella Dwellas, Mobb Deep OGC-No Fear were a few other jointz), in which I later copped doubles of based on hearing on your show.

Anyways, much respect.

YO, this is dope. I used to record your shows back in the day on cassette tape. I've been looking for those old tapes but I think they were trashed along with other hiphop memorabilia that my mom didn't find the same value that I had in them. Thank you for posting the downloads. Might it be too much to ask for a playlist?

Thanks Stretch, that's just awesome!

I remember reading the credits on the album covers and wondering who were those two guys (Stretch & Bobbito) that every New York lyricist was giving props to... It didn't take me too long to find out and to go to Fat Beats to get your freestyle tapes.

Your show was representing everything that's great about Hip Hop music : superb lyricism and incredible beats!

If New York doesn't give you the respect you deserve, then come to France, we'll be glad to have you here...

Peace.

im thousands of miles away and so many years ago shady bootleggers and magnetic tape smugglers made it possible for me to get to hear these amazing shows, finding them again makes me so happy!!

hiphop was so good back then, so much shite about these days.

i knight thee, Sir Stretch Armstrong for services to hiphop

looking forward to more!

My oh my. This brings back some fantastic memories of radio show cassette tapes from '95-'96. Although I admit that hearing a Stretch & Bobbito show up here in Ontario was a very rare opportunity that I unfortunately never had the pleasure of partaking in back in the day...but that has now changed. Thank you Stretch for taking me back to that wonderful era of music and allowing me to finally lay my ears on a legendary radio show that I've heard and read so much about over the years. I enthusiastically look forward to the future posting of additional classic shows. Peace.

94 esque KCR makes me happy.
I never heard those KCR shows before.
To be able, in 2007, to ear a song I had never heard before is better than gold indeed. I spent my whole high school years collecting these tracks on casette.
You had them all in one show... crazy. I'm going to my old cassette boxe right now. thank you.
Smile on my face.

Holy shiznit!!! This is long overdue... 89 TEC 9 back in effect!!!! Stretch Boogie & Kool Bob Love are finally doing what I wanted to do for years!!! Unbeleivably, it's coming directly from the source! I've been holding down my boxes and duffel bags filled with your tapes of jewels and gems for over 13 years now in hopes that I can one day present these to the world, like you are doing. Let the fun begin. I can definitely help you out on your hunt for your classic shows of jewels and gems. I probably have at least 80% of all your shows, Stretch! I used to stay up until the Jazzman hit the studio. Hit me up at coldchillin1@mac.com -- and oh yeah you know Pat?..............................................................................................................................Pat Me Groin!
